Car routes

Every month we publish in our magazines a scenic car route to discover the inland or the coastline of the Costa Dorada. On this page you can find just a selection of the many routes available in this beautiful part of Catalonia. You can print our car routes and use them when on holiday at the Costa Dorada. Priorat vineyards

The monasteries route (Poblet and Santes Creus)

In the 11th century the Cistercian monastic order spread across the whole of Europe. In Catalonia, communities were established in Poblet, Santes Creus and Vallbona de les Monges. In 1989 these three monasteries were connected through the creation of the well-known Cistercian Route.
